Orders and payments
O baguses the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol that allows you to encrypt and then protect your sensitive data (password and credit card number) from any attempt at fraud.
Also, from 1 January 2021, European regulations have changed to make online payments with credit or debit cards even safer.
When you make an online purchase using card payment, your bank may ask you to confirm your identity using 3-D Secure authentication. There are several ways to authenticate online payments and you may be asked to confirm your identity via SMS, email or TouchID.
3-D Secure authentication reduces the number of fraudulent online activities including identity theft and unauthorized use of cards, it protects data of card holders and decreases attempts at fraud.
We recommend that you contact your bank to ensure that it has your correct contact details in case you are asked to use SMS or e-mail for 3-D Secure authentication.
We would also like to remind you that credit and debit card payments are subject to validation and authorisation both from us and from your credit institution.
On the O bag online shop are accepted all Credit Cards Mastercard, Visa, Postepay, Discover and Diners Club and all major prepaid credit cards.
Your credit card is charged at the time of your order confirmation.
Paypal is a completely secure online payment method that allows you to pay for your order by accessing your account directly.
Your account data and credit card data linked to your account are managed directly by Paypal, which will send you a notification by email after the payment has been made.
If you choose to pay with Paypal you will be directed to the Paypal site.
If you already have a Paypal account, please identify with your email address and password to confirm your payment.
If you do not have a Paypal account, you can proceed with a guest account or create one.
Payment will be registered within few minutes and your order will be processed immediately.
You can always pay with Paypal but if you do not have a Paypal account you can use a Credit Card.
It is possible to pay by Bank Transfer only for European Union countries.
If you choose to pay by Bank Transfer, once the order is completed you will receive an email with all the information to complete the transaction. We recommend that you enter correctly the reference reason for payment that we will send you with the order confirmation, otherwise the transfer will not be recognized and the payment will not be successful.
The goods will be dispatched only when the payment has been received by the bank.
Payment as Cash on Delivery
It is possible to pay on delivery in cash (active payment method only in Italy).
In case of purchase with cash on delivery, the payment must be made exclusively in cash at the time of delivery of the products purchased, it is expected to apply an additional cost of € 5.
Payment on delivery can only be made in cash for purchases of less than € 999.00.
We do not accept checks
Google Pay, Apple Pay
Google Pay and Apple Pay are a quick and easy way to pay on sites, apps and stores that use cards saved on your Google or Apple account. Google Pay and Apple Pay protect your data and those of your cards during payment.
O bag Digital Gift Card
If you have received a Digital Gift Card O bag, you can use it at the time of payment by entering the Gift Card code in the appropriate field "Apply Gift Card" in the payment methods listed at Checkout.
Why was my payment refused?
The payment may fail due to the following reasons:
Credit card payment
- Your credit or debit card details do not match with the billing address associated with your card.
- The card is not authorized for international payments. We inform you that the headquarters of our Bank is in Amsterdam, so you will need to make the transaction with a circuit enabled.
- Your card has reached its limit for Internet payments. Check that the limit imposed on your credit or debit card does not prevent you from charging the due payment.
- The transaction page has expired
- If the credit cards linked to your Paypal account are not up to date or if the account balance is not sufficient.
- Make sure your PayPal account is verified with the appropriate app
- The page has been left before finishing the check-out procedure
- The transaction page has expired
